Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive sleep testing with attention to patient safety and comfort
• Monitor and record physiologic data during studies and perform initial analysis
• Implement appropriate sleep interventions under general supervision to support care plans
• Collaborate with sleep technologists and facility leadership to maintain high-quality care
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain equipment calibration and cleanliness
• Educate patients on study procedures and provide compassionate, clear guidance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a polysomnography program preferred
• Certification preferred: CPSGT or RPSGT (or actively pursuing certification)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Experience with sleep testing, sleep analysis, and sleep interventions a big plus
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work night shifts

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Polysomnography program completion or related clinical training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable operating polysomnography equipment and troubleshooting basic issues
• Knowledge of sleep staging, scoring basics, and common sleep disorder presentations
• Patient-centered approach with strong observation and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and escalate issues appropriately
• Familiarity with infection control, safety protocols, and clinical workflows
