Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures in the cath lab
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment with precision to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Apply sterile technique and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and techs to coordinate efficient, patient-centered care
- Prepare procedural trays, instruments, and imaging systems to support timely procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to intra-procedural needs with calm professionalism
- Document procedures and imaging findings accurately to support clinical decision-making
Qualifications
- Current ARRT RT(R) or RCIS credential required
- Healthcare Provider BLS required
- AHA ACLS required
- Experience or training in a Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting preferred (one year preferred)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
Education
- Current ARRT RT(R) or RCIS credential (required)
- BLS (Healthcare Provider) required
- AHA ACLS required
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology familiarity
- Angiography and diagnostic imaging workflow knowledge
- Proficiency with cath lab equipment and imaging systems
- Sterile technique and operating room protocols
- Patient monitoring and intra-procedural support skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Clear communication with multidisciplinary clinical teams
