Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and manage complex transitional-care patients with compassion and clinical precision
- Administer and monitor tube feedings, NG/G-Tubes, and G-Tube care safely and consistently
- Provide tracheostomy care and airway management for patients requiring respiratory support
- Manage PICC/PORT care and assist with vascular access maintenance
- Operate and document care in Meditech EMR and use Pyxis for medication administration
- Care for patients with wound VACs and chest tubes, ensuring best-practice infection control
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create clear, patient-centered transition plans
- Educate patients and families on care needs and discharge instructions to support safe transitions
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (job notes 2-10 years preferred)
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS not required for the unit (may be agency requirement) — ACLS is a plus
- Experience with TCU nursing, wound care, tracheostomy care, and enteral feeding preferred
- Comfort floating to Med Surg and Surgical Pediatrics when needed
- Ability to work varied shifts, adapt to changing schedules, and maintain professionalism

- Wound VAC management and wound care principles
- Chest tube care and monitoring
- Meditech electronic medical record proficiency
- Pyxis medication dispensing system experience
- Strong patient assessment and bedside care skills
- Ability to document accurately and communicate across care teams
- Floating experience to Med Surg and Surgical Pediatrics
