Shift Type: Rotating (Nights and Days). Must be available for all shifts; schedule requirement is 80 hours every 2 weeks. Orientation includes 1-2 day shifts followed by 1-2 night shifts. Exact shift start/end times and specific days not provided in job details.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality ICU/CCU nursing care and coordinate individualized treatment plans for pediatric through geriatric patients
- Manage ventilator care and respond to respiratory changes with skill and urgency
- Continuously monitor cardiac and respiratory status and act promptly on abnormal trends
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document changes in condition clearly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care and timely interventions
- Assist with PACU recovery and float to OB, MS and ER as needed based on competency
- Participate in unit orientation and complete competency binder to maintain high standards
- Support staffing needs, including calling in additional staff when acuity requires
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) — must meet requirements to practice as an RN
- ICU/CCU clinical experience with ventilator and critical care management
- Comfort caring for patients across the lifespan: pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric
- Willingness and ability to work any shift and meet the requirement of 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Ability to float to PACU, OB, Medical-Surgical and ER based on competency
- Completion of hospital and unit orientation and competency binder as required
Education
- Required: Education sufficient for RN licensure (nursing diploma/ADN/BSN as applicable for RN credentialing)
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical expertise in critical care, ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong patient assessment skills across age groups
- Experience with cardiac/respiratory monitoring and rapid response to changes
- Ability to function in a small ICU (4-bed/4-room) with variable acuity and 1:2 ratios
- Comfort working in PACU and supporting transitions from OR/recovery
- Team-oriented communication and documentation skills
