Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and X-ray imaging for emergency department and outpatient patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety protocols
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and troubleshoot routine issues
• Collaborate with ED staff, radiologists, and other clinicians to support timely diagnosis and care
• Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic system
• Educate patients about procedures and provide compassionate, professional care

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience performing CT and X-ray imaging
• ARRT certification required; Registered (CT) ARRT is preferred
• RRT (R) and an ODH Radiologic License required
• BLS from the American Heart Association ONLY
• Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs and perform the physical tasks of the role
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with CT scanning protocols and X-ray imaging techniques
• Experience with ED imaging workflows and outpatient imaging settings
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record systems
• Excellent patient positioning and image quality optimization skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control procedures
• Teamwork, time management, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
