Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans and X-ray imaging for emergency department and outpatient patients
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety protocols
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and troubleshoot routine issues
- Collaborate with ED staff, radiologists, and other clinicians to support timely diagnosis and care
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic system
- Educate patients about procedures and provide compassionate, professional care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience performing CT and X-ray imaging
- ARRT certification required; Registered (CT) ARRT is preferred
- RRT (R) and an ODH Radiologic License required
- BLS from the American Heart Association ONLY
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs and perform the physical tasks of the role
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with CT scanning protocols and X-ray imaging techniques
- Experience with ED imaging workflows and outpatient imaging settings
- Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record systems
- Excellent patient positioning and image quality optimization skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control procedures
- Teamwork, time management, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
