Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based med/surg and post-op oncology nursing care to patients
- Titrate and manage IV drips (heparin, lidocaine, TPN) safely and per protocol
- Monitor patients on central telemetry and promptly act on clinical changes
- Accurately document care in EPIC and maintain clear communication with the care team
- Serve as charge nurse or house supervisor when assigned and coordinate patient flow
- Deliver patient-centered care with attention to timeliness and detailed documentation
- Complete unit-specific orientation and pass the required competency assessment during orientation (90% pass threshold)
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (eligible to work in Nebraska)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Med/Surg or Oncology preferred)
- BLS (AHA) required
- Valid driver’s license required at time of submittal (used to confirm radius rule)
- Comfort and experience with EPIC charting
- Demonstrated ability to titrate drips and manage infusion therapies
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to accurate documentation
- Oncology certification is a plus but not required
Education
- BSN not required; active RN license and required certifications (BLS) expected
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC electronic charting
- Telemetry/central monitoring recognition and response
- IV drip titration and infusion management (heparin, lidocaine, TPN)
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-centered care techniques
- Ability to work efficient 12-hour shifts and adapt to rotating schedules
- Clear verbal and written communication with interdisciplinary teams
