Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat skilled nursing facility patients with compassion and clinical accuracy
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create cohesive, patient-centered care plans
- Complete timely, thorough documentation in NetHealth according to facility standards
- Manage caseloads efficiently while prioritizing patient safety and functional outcomes
- Float to a nearby sister facility as needed to maintain continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapy license or application in process under the 60-day rule
- SNF experience preferred, though new graduates are welcome and mentorship is available
- Strong documentation skills and comfort using NetHealth or similar EMR systems
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Flexible, collaborative mindset with the ability to float between nearby sites
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational therapy evaluation and treatment in a skilled nursing setting
- Thorough, standards-based documentation practices
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Caseload and time-management strategies
- Familiarity with NetHealth or equivalent clinical software
