Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging using Siemens and Toshiba (Aquilion 64/16) systems to support accurate diagnoses
• Prepare patients for exams with compassionate communication and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Operate advanced CT equipment and optimize scan parameters for diagnostic clarity
• Document procedures and findings accurately in Cerner to maintain seamless patient records
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to deliver coordinated care
• Respond promptly to urgent imaging needs and assist in trauma cases when required
• Support continuous improvement by sharing practical insights and mentoring peers

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) – required
• Certified CT Technologist – ARRT (CT) – required
• California CRT License – required
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience (as listed)
• Hands-on experience with Siemens CT systems required
• Experience with Toshiba/Canon Aquilion 64 and 16 highly desirable
• Cardiac imaging experience preferred but not required
• Comfortable charting in Cerner and following hospital protocols
• Willingness to wear scrub color teal as part of the team dress code

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of CT imaging principles, reconstruction, and protocols
• Proficiency operating Siemens and Toshiba/Canon Aquilion CT scanners
• Familiarity with cardiac CT protocols and advanced cardiac imaging techniques
• Excellent patient positioning, IV contrast administration awareness, and patient care skills
• Competence in electronic charting, especially Cerner
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and trauma imaging workflows
• Clear communication skills and ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams
