Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate GE HDXT MRI systems (16.0 and 23.0) to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Provide attentive, compassionate patient care and ensure patient safety during scans
• Collaborate with MRI techs and tech aides to coordinate patient flow and efficient throughput
• Follow imaging protocols and safety procedures, including MRI screening and infection control
• Document exams accurately in the electronic charting system and maintain exam logs
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed and support urgent imaging requests after hours
• Assist with orientation and training activities and contribute to a positive team culture

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active Massachusetts state license required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Demonstrated experience on GE MRI systems (HDXT 16.0 and 23.0) required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and take call as needed
• Traveler must have their own vehicle and include permanent address in profile
• Applicants residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of MRI safety and screening procedures
• Proficiency with GE HDXT MRI operation and protocols
• Patient positioning, immobilization and comfort techniques
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or similar EMR/PACS workflow
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and clinical teams
• Ability to work collaboratively with tech aides and other imaging staff
• Time management and ability to handle a ratio of approximately 9 patients per shift
