Shift Type: Two 16-hour shifts per week (schedule varies) with a 32-hour guarantee; must be available for evenings and weekends; posted schedule required (no 10- or 12-hour shift requests accepted).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams including mammography and general radiography to assist clinicians in diagnosis
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment including CR and DR systems and PACS applications
- Demonstrate proper use of HIS and RIS systems to document exams and manage imaging data
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining confidentiality and following infection control and OSHA policies
- Maintain and demonstrate required departmental competencies and attend annual mandatory education (bloodborne pathogens, infection control, etc.)
- Assist with supervision or instruction of department personnel as assigned by lead technologist or operations manager
- Ensure accurate completion of work history, skills checklists, and required documentation for credentialing and compliance
Qualifications
- Active ARRT (R) certification (required)
- Active American Heart Association BLS (required)
- Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License in hand or proof of application required (client will not pend license upon offer)
- Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience with at least 1 year of recent/current experience
- Experience with CR and DR imaging technology and PACS; Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred
- Current continuing education for both radiology and mammography
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends; no 10- or 12-hour shift requests will be considered
- Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years (required) and complete work history and skills checklist on upload
- Travel candidates who reside within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with X-Ray / Radiography, Mammography, Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital Radiography (DR)
- Hands-on experience with PACS, HIS and RIS systems
- Strong patient care, communication and infection control practices
- Familiarity with bloodborne pathogens training and OSHA clinical standards
- Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and PACS/DR/CR workflows
- Comfort supervising or instructing department staff when needed
