Shift Type: 4x10 day shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (day shift) with rotated 24/7 on-call coverage and a 30-minute call response requirement; weekends/nights/holidays rotated
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor Cath Lab cases with precision and attention to sterile technique
- Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care and support in Cath Lab and OR settings
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring and assist with GE imaging systems during cases
- Respond to on-call notifications within a 30-minute window to support emergent needs
- Document patient care and case details accurately in EPIC
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, Cath Lab techs, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality cardiovascular care
Qualifications
- Active KS Registered Nurse license (RN) required
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required (CCI)
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab/Cardiovascular experience (previous Cath Lab experience required)
- Ability to work in Cath Lab, Pre/Post and OR settings and to participate in rotating call
- Valid driver's license and willingness to meet radius/ travel requirements as requested
Education
- Registered Nurse — Associate's or Diploma acceptable; BSN not required
- RCIS certification (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) via CCI required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC charting and documentation
- Experience with GE imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Strong scrub and circulating skills in the cardiac catheterization lab
- Comfortable managing 2–3 cases per day in an acute care, trauma level 3 environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-acuity settings
- Ability to follow sterile technique, safety protocols, and unit-specific orientation processes
