Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cath Lab and equipment for cardiac procedures, ensuring everything’s sterile, safe, and ready
• Perform hemodynamic and control room duties, monitoring patients and supporting the physician team
• Assist during cardiac catheterization procedures using proper sterile technique and radiation safety practices
• Conduct and monitor stress tests, correlating invasive and non-invasive results for clinical decision-making
• Complete patient catheterization reports and document findings clearly and promptly
• Safely transport patients to and from the department and coordinate handoffs with care teams
• Communicate pertinent findings to physicians and support timely interventions
• Pitch in on department needs and perform other duties to maintain smooth, patient-centered operations

Qualifications

• North Dakota Medical Imaging License (must meet requirements that align with the ND Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board; ability to obtain conditional license as required)
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) — current
• ARRT certification or RCIS/RCES preferred (candidates with ARRT will be considered)
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, and control room duties
• Comfort with radiation safety, sterile technique, and performing stress tests
• Ability to work day shifts, participate in on-call rotations (24-hour call), and be a collaborative team player
