Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care that makes a measurable difference
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to physician orders
• Lead triage and rapid response efforts, using your TNCC and ACLS training when seconds count
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate smooth transitions of care
• Educate patients and families so they feel informed and supported
• Maintain compliance with Trinity Specialty Competency Testing and complete required checklists

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (ability to verify License/Certificate required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Up-to-date health screenings and immunizations (Fit Test, Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, Physical/Health Statement)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience with trauma and stroke assessment protocols (TNCC, NIHSS)
• Comfort responding to emergencies and stabilizing patients
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Accurate documentation and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Ability to complete and maintain specialty competencies and skills checklists
