Shift Type: Variable 4 x 10-hour day schedule, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Day shift); schedule varies by assignment; includes 1 weekend per month plus seven weekday on-call shifts for Cath

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist with and support cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Set up, operate and troubleshoot Cath/EP lab equipment, maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures
- Prepare patients and provide compassionate peri-procedural care including monitoring and documentation
- Support EP studies, ablations, device implants and Watchman/LAAO procedures with precision and attention to detail
- Accurately document procedures and patient data using MacLab and other documentation systems
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies and intra-procedural changes in patient condition
- Participate in unit call rotation and support coverage needs, including scheduled weekday call responsibilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cath/EP lab experience preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications; PALS strongly preferred
- ARRT or RCIS certification with RTR license (required)
- Proven proficiency in Cath/EP lab procedures including PCI, EP studies, ablation and device implants
- Comfortable using MacLab documentation system
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced procedural environment and participate in call rotation
Education
- Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) program or equivalent clinical training; associate degree or relevant certificate preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab workflows
- Hands-on familiarity with PCI, EP studies, ablation, Watchman/LAAO and device implant procedures
- Proficiency with MacLab and procedural documentation
- Skillful patient monitoring and peri-procedural care
- Excellent sterile technique and infection control practices
- Effective communication, teamwork and critical thinking under pressure
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and on-call responsibilities
