Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and craft individualized OT treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
- Collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs and caregivers to create cohesive care plans
- Document progress and outcomes accurately and efficiently in the medical record
- Train patients and families on adaptive strategies and use of assistive devices
- Contribute to a positive culture by mentoring support staff and sharing best practices
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or eligible for California state licensure
- Entry-level master’s or OTD in Occupational Therapy preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Prior experience in outpatient/rehab or similar settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Available for the assignment window: Jan 26, 2026 – Apr 25, 2026
Education
- Master of Science in Occupational Therapy or OTD (entry-level)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ADL/IADL assessment and restorative strategies
- Knowledge of splinting, adaptive equipment, and home safety recommendations
- Familiarity with documentation standards and common EMR systems
- Ability to set measurable goals and track functional outcomes
- Comfortable working with adult rehabilitation populations and care teams
