Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and craft individualized OT treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs and caregivers to create cohesive care plans
• Document progress and outcomes accurately and efficiently in the medical record
• Train patients and families on adaptive strategies and use of assistive devices
• Contribute to a positive culture by mentoring support staff and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or eligible for California state licensure
• Entry-level master’s or OTD in Occupational Therapy preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Prior experience in outpatient/rehab or similar settings is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Available for the assignment window: Jan 26, 2026 – Apr 25, 2026

Education

• Master of Science in Occupational Therapy or OTD (entry-level)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADL/IADL assessment and restorative strategies
• Knowledge of splinting, adaptive equipment, and home safety recommendations
• Familiarity with documentation standards and common EMR systems
• Ability to set measurable goals and track functional outcomes
• Comfortable working with adult rehabilitation populations and care teams
