Shift Type: Evening (Second) shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; rotating schedule with every other weekend required

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care throughout your shift
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and changes in condition
- Implement care plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet resident goals
- Perform routine clinical procedures and wound care as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff to support continuity of care
- Adhere to facility policies, infection control practices, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — Vermont license preferred or compact-eligible where applicable
- Active CPR/BLS certification required
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
- Ability to work evenings and every other weekend with a positive attitude
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent practical nursing education
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation standards
- Competence in vital sign assessment and basic clinical monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
- Strong infection control knowledge and adherence to safety protocols
- Good time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
- Empathy, teamwork, and effective communication with residents and families
