Shift Type: Varies; occasional weekends (schedule may include day and evening shifts depending on residential or outpatient needs)

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct client services including individual and group counseling focused on substance use recovery
- Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions across residential and outpatient settings
- Conduct intake assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation in a timely manner
- Coordinate care as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of services
- Facilitate psychoeducational and skills-building groups that support recovery goals
- Monitor client safety and participate in crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate records and comply with program, legal, and confidentiality requirements
- Support family engagement and provide referrals to community resources when appropriate
Qualifications
- Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor Level I (CADC I) or National Certification Addiction Counselor I (NCAC I) required
- CADC II or NCAC II (or higher) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
- Experience with substance use treatment and behavioral health services
- Comfortable using computer applications for documentation and communication
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required prior to start
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Substance use counseling and recovery-focused interventions
- Trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices
- Experience in both residential and outpatient treatment settings
- Strong documentation and assessment skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Cultural competency and client-centered communication
- Basic computer literacy for electronic records and reporting
