Shift Type: 3x12-hour shifts per week; Day: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Night: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Day and Night 12-hour options, rotating coverage available)

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to adults on the BMT and inpatient oncology unit
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to keep patients safe
- Administer IV therapy, infusions and blood products following strict safety protocols
- Manage central lines, PICC lines and implanted ports, including blood draws from central access
- Support patients receiving autologous, syngeneic and allogeneic transplants and CAR-T therapy
- Respond effectively as part of Rapid Response Teams when patient condition changes
- Perform feeding tube care and recognize and communicate abnormal lab values
- Document thoroughly in Epic and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification and Oncology Certified preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of MS and oncology experience
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation, including use of GE B450 telemetry monitors preferred
- Comfortable with IV therapy/infusions, blood product administration, central line and port management
- Prior travel nurse experience preferred; first-time travelers will be screened
- Proficient with Epic charting system
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and telemetry interpretation
- Recognition and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- IV therapy, infusion pump use and Alaris pump familiarity
- Administration of blood and blood products
- Central line, PICC and implanted port care and accessing ports
- Feeding tube care and management
- Infection prevention and isolation precautions specific to immunocompromised patients
- Care of patients with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other hematologic disorders
- Experience with transplant patient care and CAR-T therapy workflows
- Strong documentation skills in Epic and effective interdisciplinary communication
