Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Preferred 5x8 Day). Alternate start: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Optional 4x10 schedule (e.g., Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM) considered for candidates with CNSC. Rotating weekend on-call coverage (on-call only on weekends worked). Full-time, 40 hours/week guaranteed.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy through thorough nutrition assessment and individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Deliver clear, compassionate nutrition education to patients, families, and care teams
• Implement diet modifications and nutrition interventions based on evidence-based guidelines
• Follow and contribute to facility Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures and the Company Diet Manual
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation when scheduled to support patient care continuity

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (required)
• Active Licensed Dietitian in the State of Missouri (required)
• Minimum 1+ years of clinical dietitian experience
• CNSC certification preferred (will be strongly considered)
• Travel experience preferred and comfortable working in contract/travel role
• Willingness to participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage as scheduled
• Familiarity with and commitment to HIPAA and patient confidentiality

Education

• Commission on Dietetic Registration — Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
• Active Missouri Dietitian license

Knowledge & Skills

• Medical nutrition therapy and nutrition assessment expertise
• Diet modification and therapeutic meal planning
• Patient education and clear communication skills
• Interdisciplinary team collaboration and care coordination
• Knowledge of clinical nutrition policies & procedures and quality standards
• Regulatory compliance including HIPAA and facility guidelines
