Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and daily living support for residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform regular patient assessments and report changes promptly
- Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
- Support a positive resident experience with dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (New Mexico preferred or able to meet state requirements)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on resident care
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
- Local candidates only as noted in the order
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
- Basic wound care, infection control, and vital signs monitoring
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Time management and prioritization in a busy overnight environment
- Compassionate patient-centered approach
