Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and continual monitoring of critically ill patients
- Develop, implement and evaluate individualized plans of care based on AACN standards
- Prioritize patient problems and intervene to prevent life-threatening complications
- Manage airway and ventilation needs and provide advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Recognize cardiac arrhythmias and initiate appropriate emergency interventions
- Assist with temporary pacemaker insertion and coordinate ambulance transport when needed
- Maintain current knowledge and clinical competency through mandatory education and skills practice
- Collaborate with unit leadership and the interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license (able to meet state licensure requirements for practice)
- Experience in ICU or PCU / critical care nursing
- Working knowledge of AACN critical care standards and expectations
- Preference given to clinicians with EPIC experience
- Ability to perform assessment, care planning and life-threatening emergency management
- Willingness to work scheduled 12-hour day shifts and participate in required competencies
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing principles and bedside assessment
- Patient assessment and individualized care planning
- Airway and ventilation management
- Hemodynamic monitoring and stability management
- Cardiac arrhythmia recognition and emergency response
- Assisting with temporary pacemaker procedures
- Familiarity with EPIC (preferred)
- Comfort working to AACN standards in a fast-paced environment
