Shift Type: Night shifts (NOC), 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, typical schedule: three 12-hour nights per week (3x12s); days vary, minimal floating

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert telemetry monitoring and intervene promptly on changes in cardiac status
- Deliver compassionate geriatric and inpatient rehabilitation care for swing-bed patients
- Perform advanced wound care treatments and manage complex wound plans
- Assess, plan and implement individualized nursing care using Cerner for accurate documentation
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and safe discharges
- Educate patients and families, delivering concierge-level service to an affluent community
- Maintain unit standards for safety, quality and patient experience with professionalism
- Adapt to unit needs during busy periods while upholding best-practice clinical care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience (as stated)
- Experience caring for geriatric patients or prior inpatient rehabilitation (swing bed) experience is a must
- Advanced wound care skills required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and CPI preferred
- Experience with Cerner documentation and standard med/surg equipment
- Comfort working typical patient ratios noted on unit and delivering high-touch patient service
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Strong med/surg nursing skills and familiarity with standard unit equipment
- Advanced wound assessment and treatment planning
- Geriatric care knowledge, including mobility and safety considerations
- Clinical documentation and workflow in Cerner
- Ability to perform minor procedures common to the unit
- Excellent communication, teamwork and patient education skills
- Adaptability in a small hospital setting and commitment to patient experience
