Shift Type: Rotating 4-day schedule (4x10) with rotating call, Day shift 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Support and assist with right and left heart catheterizations — both diagnostic and interventional, making each procedure safer and smoother
- Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment including GE lab systems and specialty devices like Impella, balloon pumps, Penumbra and IVUS
- Document procedures accurately using Merge Hemo to ensure complete patient records and smooth handoffs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Respond to STEMI and on-call activations when needed, covering sister facilities as part of a team-first approach
- Maintain unit readiness by stocking supplies, following infection control and ensuring equipment is ready for the next case
Qualifications
- RCIS required — certified expertise in the cath lab
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (listed as ALCS/BLS in posting) required
- Minimum 2 years of lab/cath lab experience as stated in the profile
- Experience with Merge Hemo documentation preferred or required
- Familiarity with EP procedures is a plus (advanced skill desired)
- Comfortable with rotating on-call responsibilities and occasional float coverage at nearby sister hospital
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac catheterization: diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Peripheral interventions and peripheral diagnostic procedures
- Cath lab procedures and workflow best practices
- Merge Hemo documentation experience
- Experience with GE lab imaging systems
- Hands-on familiarity with Impella, balloon pumps, Penumbra, and IVUS
- Ability to work efficiently in a 3-lab environment with 3:1 patient ratios
