Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care
- Perform focused patient assessments and promptly report changes in condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate excellent care
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care to ensure continuity
- Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and follow facility protocols
- Adhere to infection control and safety practices to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) classification
- Authorization to practice in New Mexico (state licensure) is required
- Willingness to work scheduled days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- CPR/BLS certification is preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in medication administration and wound care
- Comfortable using electronic health records for documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients and colleagues
- Solid vital signs assessment and basic clinical judgment
- Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
