Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care
• Perform focused patient assessments and promptly report changes in condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate excellent care
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care to ensure continuity
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and follow facility protocols
• Adhere to infection control and safety practices to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) classification
• Authorization to practice in New Mexico (state licensure) is required
• Willingness to work scheduled days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred or willing to obtain upon hire

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals in medication administration and wound care
• Comfortable using electronic health records for documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients and colleagues
• Solid vital signs assessment and basic clinical judgment
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Commitment to patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
