Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the medical unit
- Perform thorough assessments and document findings clearly and promptly
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes
- Respond to clinical changes and assist in emergency interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure timely charting
- Support continuity of care through effective handoffs and communication
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (California preferred)
- Available for full-time assignment with required schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Willing and able to complete a 2-week training period and maintain good attendance (no time off during training)
- Comfortable working in a medical unit environment and following facility protocols
- Ability to start assignment on 2026-02-23 and commit through 2026-08-23
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Clear, timely documentation and electronic medical record familiarity
- Infection control and basic medical-surgical nursing knowledge
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
- Reliability, good attendance, and adherence to facility policies
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs during an 8-hour shift
