Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient mobility, strength, balance, and functional needs to create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to restore function and reduce pain
• Set measurable goals with patients and track progress through documentation and outcome measures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and families to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and communicate changes in patient status

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Alabama (or compact state eligibility where applicable)
• Clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy; strong assessment and manual therapy skills
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with patients and team members
• Professional attitude, strong organizational skills, and commitment to quality care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy acceptable where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in musculoskeletal assessment, therapeutic exercise, and manual techniques
• Proficient with documentation systems and outcomes measurement
• Knowledge of patient education best practices and home exercise progression
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and adapt treatment plans to individual goals
• Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients of all ages
