Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehab setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
• Perform routine assessments and communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) while promoting resident dignity and independence
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and other staff to support individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record and follow facility policies

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in Massachusetts (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (required or obtainable upon hire)
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on night shift
• Dependable, patient-centered approach with solid clinical judgment
• RN candidates with appropriate licensure may be considered for RN openings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN license in Massachusetts

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic assessment skills: vitals, skin integrity, pain assessment
• Familiarity with long-term care and rehabilitation workflows
• Infection control and ability to follow facility protocols
• Team collaboration and clear handoff communication
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy clinical environment
