Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered nursing care with professionalism
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Perform comprehensive assessments and promptly report changes in condition
- Document care thoroughly and maintain clear, timely EMR/charting
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and support mobility goals
- Participate in safety protocols, infection control, and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license valid in Massachusetts
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS or other certs a plus
- Completion of immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Comfortable working in long-term care or rehab settings; experience preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and resident-focused care ethic
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical or professional nursing program (LPN or RN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and restorative nursing principles
- Patient assessment and recognition of acute changes
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Clear communication with residents, families, and care teams
