Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-focused nursing care to residents of Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
- Assess resident condition, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Deliver skilled nursing interventions that support resident recovery and quality of life
- Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and safety
- Support facility goals for patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (practical or registered nurse) — ability to practice in Massachusetts required
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable and experienced with 12-hour day shifts and long-term care rhythms
- Strong communication and teamwork skills — you’ll coordinate with nursing staff and therapists
- Reliable, patient-centered, and committed to delivering high-quality care
Education
- LPN: Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent
- RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and documentation
- Familiarity with long-term care or rehabilitation nursing best practices
- Skilled in patient assessment and care planning
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing clinical needs
- Basic infection control, safety, and resident rights awareness
