Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-focused nursing care to residents of Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Assess resident condition, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Deliver skilled nursing interventions that support resident recovery and quality of life
• Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and safety
• Support facility goals for patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (practical or registered nurse) — ability to practice in Massachusetts required
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable and experienced with 12-hour day shifts and long-term care rhythms
• Strong communication and teamwork skills — you’ll coordinate with nursing staff and therapists
• Reliable, patient-centered, and committed to delivering high-quality care

Education

• LPN: Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and documentation
• Familiarity with long-term care or rehabilitation nursing best practices
• Skilled in patient assessment and care planning
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing clinical needs
• Basic infection control, safety, and resident rights awareness
