Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care overnight to residents of Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders
• Monitor, assess and document patient status, changes, and care interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate high-quality care
• Support residents with activities of daily living and promote dignity and independence
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate concerns when necessary
• Maintain accurate clinical records and help ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (must be licensed in Massachusetts or eligible for licensure)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently overnight and as part of a collaborative team

Education

• LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited nursing program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic wound care and dressing changes
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Infection prevention and control procedures
• Time management, prioritization, and critical thinking during overnight shifts
• Compassionate resident-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
