Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts), rotating nights including weekend rotation required; may be scheduled on other shifts as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans for trauma and acute care patients with precision and compassion
- Operate and optimize GE CT scanners and other imaging equipment to deliver accurate diagnostic images
- Safeguard patient safety by applying radiation protection principles and following fluoroscopy permit requirements
- Document patient information, exam details, and image data accurately in EPIC EMR
- Collaborate proactively with physicians, nurses, and the trauma team to ensure timely imaging and patient flow
- Provide clear patient instruction and reassurance, making each exam as comfortable as possible
- Maintain equipment readiness and complete routine quality control and troubleshooting tasks
- Support weekend and night coverage, stepping in reliably during high-acuity or peak times
Qualifications
- Current California Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT)
- Fluoroscopy permit as required by California regulations
- Current CPR certification
- At least 2 years of CT scanning experience (trauma experience a plus)
- Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
- Prior successful completion of traveler assignments preferred
- Experience using EPIC EMR
- Registry/credentialing such as AART/ARRT as applicable
Knowledge & Skills
- CT scanning techniques and cross-sectional imaging principles
- Fluoroscopy procedures and radiation safety best practices
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR for documentation and image management
- Familiarity with trauma protocols and working in a Level II trauma environment
- Patient positioning, IV contrast administration workflows, and emergency response
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot GE CT scanner systems
