Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents and patients
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in condition accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely following facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff to support positive outcomes
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and facility standards, including DHS requirements

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (Class: RN required)
• Active Delaware business license required to staff in DE
• Active DHS account required (must have an account with the DHS)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
• Clinical experience as a practicing RN (specific years not stated) and ability to pass facility onboarding

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN) and active RN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Safe medication administration and documentation practices
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Experience with care planning and interdisciplinary coordination
• Comfortable using electronic health records and completing required paperwork
