Shift Type: Flexible: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM or 2:30 PM - 3:00 AM (evening and overnight options; candidate must be flexible; shifts include evening and overnight/rotating coverage)

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages with compassion and clinical confidence
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients quickly in a fast-paced ER environment
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocol and order
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record and maintain clear communication with families
- Participate in Trinity specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence
- Ensure compliance with required health screenings, immunizations, and license verification
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (compact or state license as applicable) required
- Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS required
- TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred and/or required per unit standards
- Emergency nursing experience (acute/ER experience preferred)
- Successful completion of license/certificate verification and facility competency checks
- Ability to pass required health screenings: fit test, drug screen, immunizations, and physical/health statement
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency assessment and triage skills
- Proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and basic life support interventions
- Comfort working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments with strong critical thinking
- Familiarity with ER protocols, trauma assessment, and rapid documentation
- Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
- Willingness to complete facility-specific competency testing and skills checklists
