Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients continuously and monitor telemetry data to detect changes in cardiac status
• Provide skilled med-surg nursing care and ensure safe, patient-centered treatment
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust care plans
• Respond to patient needs and emergent changes with confidence and appropriate escalation
• Coach and educate patients and families about their conditions and care instructions

Qualifications

• Active RN license with license verification prior to start
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP and DCI/BVP as indicated
• Telemetry and med-surg clinical experience (preferred)
• Ability to meet compliance requirements: negative TB, MMR/Varicella vaccine record or attestation, fit test, drug screen and background check
• Weekend availability and flexibility for per diem scheduling

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Strong med-surg assessment and patient monitoring abilities
• Proficiency with documentation and core competency requirements
• Infection control and immunization compliance awareness
• Comfort working independently on per diem assignments and integrating into existing teams
