Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry and medical-surgical nursing care to assigned patients
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly intervene per protocol
• Administer medications safely and document interventions clearly
• Float between units as needed to support patient care and staffing needs
• Work weekends and night shifts reliably to ensure continuity of care
• Complete required competency exams and Prime skills checklists in a timely manner
• Maintain compliance with vaccinations, fit testing, drug screen, and licensing requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient-centered plans

Qualifications

• Active nursing license verification (state-appropriate RN license required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and NRP as applicable
• Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Ability to float between units and adapt to varying patient populations
• Weekend and night shift availability required
• Willingness and ability to complete Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
• Meet all pre-employment compliance requirements (vaccinations/attestation, drug screen, TB test, fit test, etc.)

• Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking
• Effective communication and teamwork across units
• Infection control and immunization compliance knowledge
• Ability to complete competency testing and follow hospital protocols
