Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate medical/surgical nursing care to patients during night shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments according to policy and physician orders
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and transitions
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required compliance tasks in a timely manner
• Complete required competencies and skills validation (Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist)
• Ensure immunization and screening requirements are met prior to or shortly after the start of assignment

Qualifications

• Active RN license with verification prior to start
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP as applicable
• DCI/BVP and completion of Prime Core Competencies and Prime Skills Checklist as requested
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends; per diem availability required
• Successful completion of background check and drug screen
• Up-to-date immunizations and negative TB results or acceptable documentation

Knowledge & Skills

• Medical/surgical nursing knowledge and night-shift experience
• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and basic emergency response proficiency
• Infection control practices and immunization compliance
• Clear communication and teamwork skills to work with diverse care teams
• Comfort with completing competency exams and skills checklists
