Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, fluency and communication needs for K-8 students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
• Deliver in-person therapy sessions across a K-8 caseload of ~40–60 students
• Collaborate with teachers, families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation and communicate results clearly
• Provide consultative support to classroom staff to encourage carryover of skills
• Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings and school activities to advocate for students

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLP license (required)
• ASHA CCCs (required)
• Comfort managing a K-8 school caseload of approximately 40–60 students
• Ability to provide in-person services at the Grandview Mountain School
• Strong communication skills for working with families, teachers and school teams

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (typical for ASHA CCCs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in pediatric speech-language assessment and intervention for K-8 students
• Experience with caseload management, progress monitoring and documentation
• Strong collaboration and consultative skills within a school setting
• Ability to create evidence-based, individualized therapy plans
