Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate findings during handoffs
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to coordinate care
• Accurately maintain patient records and complete required documentation

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential as noted in the posting
• Ability to work overnight 12.5-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Active nursing license valid for practice in New Mexico (or ready to obtain one)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background checks, and required health screenings

Education

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent for LPN
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program for those working as RN (if applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Safe medication administration and basic IV/route knowledge as applicable
• Clear and timely documentation in electronic health records
• Comfort working independently during night shifts and escalating concerns appropriately
• Collaborative approach to interdisciplinary patient care
