Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care for patients across acuity levels during night shifts
- Manage ventilators and advanced airway support, adjusting settings per physician orders
- Perform and interpret arterial blood gases and other respiratory diagnostics
- Deliver neonatal and pediatric resuscitation support when needed, following NRP and PALS protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, device use and discharge plans
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ensure proper infection control
- Complete required documentation, competency checklists and participate in Prime Core Competencies testing
Qualifications
- Active Respiratory Therapy license with ability to verify license and certifications
- Current BLS certification required
- Current PALS, ACLS and NRP certifications required
- DCI BVP certification as listed by the facility
- Compliance with facility health requirements including drug screening, immunizations, TB testing and fit testing
- Comfort working night shifts and covering every other weekend and holiday
- Strong patient assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
Education
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in ventilator management and advanced airway care
- Competence with neonatal and pediatric respiratory interventions
- Skilled in arterial blood gas collection and interpretation
- Familiarity with respiratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently during night shifts and escalate care appropriately
- Proven teamwork and clear documentation practices
