Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as an LPN on the floor
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Support admissions, discharges, and patient education with attention and empathy
• Help maintain a safe, clean environment and follow facility policies and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in North Carolina (required)
• Availability to work evenings (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) including every other weekend
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Clinical experience as an LPN preferred; confident medication administration and documentation skills
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented with strong communication skills

Education

• Practical nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN program completion required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and nursing fundamentals
• Comfortable with patient assessments, wound care basics, and ADL assistance
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and the care team
