Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Document patient observations accurately and promptly
- Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver compassionate care
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification from an accredited program (state-approved)
- Previous caregiving or long-term care experience is a plus
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Demonstrated ability to follow care plans and communicate clearly
- Valid work authorization for the United States
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and personal hygiene support
- Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
- Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
- Time management and documentation skills
- Teamwork and the ability to follow clinical direction
