Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support safe feeding and meal assistance while monitoring intake
- Communicate changes in resident condition to nurses and care team
- Document care provided accurately and timely to support continuity
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Current state CNA listing or ability to obtain state listing as needed
- Willingness to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic resident care and comfort measures presented in a friendly, practical way
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes to licensed staff
- Safe lifting and mobility assistance techniques
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
- Time management skills to balance tasks during shift
