Location: High Point, NC
Shift Type: Days vary, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening / Second Shift — Night)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Measure and report vital signs and changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with meal service and feeding, ensuring dignity and comfort
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care activities
- Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with nurses and care team members to implement individualized care plans
- Engage with residents/patients and families to promote a positive experience and emotional support
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — North Carolina certification preferred or ability to obtain
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Able to take and record vital signs accurately
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and team members
- Knowledge of basic infection control and patient safety practices
- Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced care environment
