Location: Gettysburg, PA
Shift Type: Days vary, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents — bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility assistance
- Monitor residents’ condition and report changes to the nursing team to keep everyone safe
- Assist with meals and feeding, ensuring dignity and comfort at every step
- Support activities of daily living and encourage resident independence
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
- Work closely with nurses and therapy staff to execute individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification — Pennsylvania preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
- A caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work nights
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing helpful but enthusiastic newcomers are welcome
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA program and current state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic patient care and infection control practices
- Skilled in safe resident transfers and mobility assistance
- Good observation and reporting skills for resident condition changes
- Team player mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management to handle a fast-paced shift while maintaining quality care
