Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
• Monitor basic patient conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to maintain comfort and mobility
• Support bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting with dignity and respect
• Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Contribute to a clean, safe environment by following infection control and facility policies

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Ability to work night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Comfortable assisting with mobility and personal care tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with nursing staff
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain if not already held

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
• Ability to follow care plans and accurately document observations
• Compassionate bedside manner and respect for patient dignity
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Basic safety skills for safe patient handling and transfer techniques
