Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, respectful, and compassionate direct care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Support mealtime routines and ensure hydration and nutrition needs are met
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow infection control practices
- Collaborate with nurses and care staff to deliver person-centered care and keep documentation accurate
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
- Comfort and experience working night shift hours
- Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization and screening requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Education
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with resident care and ADLs
- Basic charting and reporting of observations to the nursing team
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Infection control and proper use of PPE
- Strong interpersonal skills for resident and family interactions
