Shift Type: Primarily night shifts (schedule set by supervisor), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts; includes call, weekends and holidays as scheduled
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging using GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice scanners to support accurate diagnoses
- Provide compassionate patient care throughout imaging encounters, from prep through post-scan education
- Maintain radiation safety practices and wear a client-provided radiation badge at all times
- Operate EMR/PACS systems (EPIC and McKesson) to document studies, access orders, and manage images
- Float across CT, X-ray, OR, Endoscopy and Emergency Department as staffing needs require
- Respond to call assignments promptly and support urgent imaging needs during nights and weekends
- Follow department policies (including fingernail/artificial nail rules) to ensure patient safety and compliance
- Contribute to a positive team culture by staying flexible, approachable, and willing to learn
Qualifications
- ARRT – CT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant imaging experience (CT or X-ray preferred)
- Proven experience with GE CT scanners (VCT 64-slice and Revolution 128 preferred)
- Comfortable charting in EPIC and using McKesson PACS
- Valid driver’s license required at time of submittal
- Must not be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit facility (including CHI and Dignity)
- Willingness to float to OR, Endoscopy and ED as needed
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent clinical training
- ARRT-CT certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Skilled in radiation safety and patient positioning for diagnostic quality
- Familiarity with GE CT platforms (VCT 64 and Revolution 128) and general CT maintenance checks
- Proficient in EPIC for charting and order management
- Experience with McKesson PACS for image review and workflow
- Ability to work in acute care/trauma settings and adapt to varied imaging studies
- Excellent patient communication and triage skills during high-volume periods
