Location: Gettysburg, PA
Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (3rd shift / NOC)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Take and document vital signs accurately and promptly
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to support care plans
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the patient record
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania preferred or eligible to obtain
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Comfortable working overnight hours and functioning as part of a night team
- Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in patient care and activities of daily living
- Ability to take and interpret vital signs and report abnormalities
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Infection control, safety, and patient handling techniques
- Effective verbal communication and teamwork
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
