Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cardiac cath lab and angiography imaging equipment with precision
• Support interventional procedures by preparing equipment, supplies, and sterile fields
• Monitor patient status and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure patient safety
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures
• Perform quality control checks and document imaging procedures accurately
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain proper shielding and exposure records
• Keep the cath lab organized, stocked, and ready for efficient patient care
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to process improvements that enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential (required)
• Current, unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technologist license (required)
• Healthcare Provider BLS (required)
• AHA ACLS certification (required)
• Radiologic Technologist (RTR) credential preferred
• One (1) year of Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with cardiac catheterization and angiography workflows
• Familiarity with interventional radiology and diagnostic imaging techniques
• Fluoroscopy and radiation safety best practices
• Strong patient care, monitoring, and communication skills
• Ability to assist in sterile procedures and maintain aseptic technique
• Accuracy in procedural documentation and equipment quality checks
