Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cardiac cath lab and angiography imaging equipment with precision
- Support interventional procedures by preparing equipment, supplies, and sterile fields
- Monitor patient status and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure patient safety
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures
- Perform quality control checks and document imaging procedures accurately
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain proper shielding and exposure records
- Keep the cath lab organized, stocked, and ready for efficient patient care
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to process improvements that enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current ARRT RT(R) credential (required)
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technologist license (required)
- Healthcare Provider BLS (required)
- AHA ACLS certification (required)
- Radiologic Technologist (RTR) credential preferred
- One (1) year of Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with cardiac catheterization and angiography workflows
- Familiarity with interventional radiology and diagnostic imaging techniques
- Fluoroscopy and radiation safety best practices
- Strong patient care, monitoring, and communication skills
- Ability to assist in sterile procedures and maintain aseptic technique
- Accuracy in procedural documentation and equipment quality checks
