Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and mobility assistance to promote independence
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Accurately document care and observations to ensure continuity and quality
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver resident-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Active placement on the state CNA registry as required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to pass background check and required screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing care skills and knowledge of ADLs
- Vital signs measurement and reporting
- Infection control and safe patient handling practices
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
